Their food is absolutely delicious!! Our waitress Nakia was awesome! We had a large party and she was spot on with everyone’s orders. I had the smothered porkchop, fried fish, collards and Mac & cheese. The restaurant has a nice cozy, southern, hole in the wall atmosphere. I will definitely be back again!
Customer service was the best. Great food at great prices. Lots of options.
This place is amazing. Everyone is so friendly, and the food is delicious!!! I had the fried fish and shrimp dinner with mac & cheese, cornbread and coleslaw, everything came out so hot and fresh. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
I was in the area on a travel assignment. I visited this place for dinner and wow did they exceed my expectations! I had the turkey wings, yams, and potato salad with cornbread. When I tell you my mouth watered. I couldn’t even stop to get a picture of the food. It was so delicious. That cornbread melted in my mouth! In addition, I had the pineapple poundcake. I’ll call back to let the lady know how great everything was see I live in the south and I haven’t been to a Soulfood restaurant yet that can compare. It wasn’t over seasoned or underseasoned overcooked nor undercooked! I mean, everything was just made right!
This is a great eating place. The food didn’t take long to come out and the food was hot and delicious. The waitress was also nice!

Who would have thought that little building would be hiding the mother of some church bake the cooking the best tasting home cooked meals since my aunt Maggie! Omg it was so much for a small price!!!
Incredible smothered pork chops! You get two huge, perfectly breaded chops covered in delicious gravy and onions. The sides are what really blew me away - the collard greens and cabbage are seasoned so perfectly that I didn't need to add a thing. No vinegar, no extra salt and pepper - just pure, flavorful soul food done right. Every bite was incredible. If you're craving authentic Southern cooking, this is a must-try spot. Great portions too!
